[18 Jul 2008|08:39pm] hello_catnip [ mood | fleas ] [ music | Glay - Yes, Summerdays (Orchestral) ] his name is mung daal. he got a warble and his mother abandoned him. he was a stray but as of yesterday, he's mine. the vet took out the warble today and gave me antibiotics for him. he also has roundworms, so he's on dewormer for three days. then he can start hanging around with whiskers and kremling. whiskers doesn't like him yet but she hated kremling's guts for a while (jealous because they have four legs, maybe................). krem wants to play with him, though. mung still has fleas. they just won't die. 2 comments|post comment

[13 Jul 2008|06:22pm] hello_catnip [ mood | flatlined ] [ music | Dvořák - Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 95 ("From the New World"), I ] i forgot how to shower this morning. i grabbed my towel and i went into the bathroom and.. i knew what to do, i guess. i mean, i knew like, 'turn on the faucet'. but i didn't know.. how, lmfao. i just.. stared at it. i really didn't know what to do. i just stood in there for a few minutes and was like WELL FUCK THIS and left. i smell like ass. yesterday, i scrubbed my dog's gigantic pen cage thing and gave him a bath. we bug-sprayed his cage, too, because they were everywhere. anyways, he had to stay the night in my room. he spent most of the night sitting diligently in front of my ferret's cage and licking his chops. my dad accidentally let him out this morning. i ended up rushing him and grabbing hold of his torso, but i skid across my neighbor's driveway. i have three bandaids on my knees and tore a hole in each knee of my scrubs (my pants were soaked through, i had nothing else to wear). i've had a canker sore about the size of a dime (i really am not exaggerating o_o) in the left side of my mouth. i can't close my mouth without biting it, either. it's been hurting so much, and it became unbearable today. we had some BC powder though (which i've never used before) which is apparently the best over-the-counter painkiller (it's like the godsend of the south, apparently, but i'd never heard of it back in california). it takes about 15 minutes to work and it works for about 4 hours. oh my god, the powder is terrible. i poured it as far back into my mouth as i could so i wouldn't taste it (and for the most part i didn't, except for burping it up which was god awful) but it burned. i didn't know it was going to. i poured it all onto one tight spot on the back of my tongue and it burned so bad that i was crying. it took away all pain in my knees though, which didn't even notice until i could walk without them hurting. the canker sore went from unbearable sharp pains to a dull sore. that shit is bananas. 5 comments|post comment
